You can help to control the hydrilla infestation on Lake Norman by adopting a Sterile Grass Carp, just like our very own Gary the Grass Carp.

Each Carp costs the Lake Norman Marine Commission approximately $6.50. Six thousand carp were stocked in the summer of 2004. In order to keep up with the growth of hydrilla, an additional 1,500 Carp will need to be added each year.
